During my career I’ve written something on just about every single topic you could imagine. I spent the early part of my career working in print newsrooms and when I started mp|media solutions it provided me the perfect opportunity to continue being a proactive provider of news on behalf of my many clients, personal and professional interests. Environment, small business, leadership, corporate, Landcare, community projects, regional issues, water, health, community services, tourism and stories about people making a difference are all part of my extensive writing portfolio.

I also have the pleasure of talking regularly to people working in the media – print, online, radio, television. Having great relationships and a true understanding of what the media wants is the key to getting my stories published. It is always exciting to receive positive feedback from my media peers, so thank you to Lyndal Reading from the Weekly Times who I have been sending stories to for nearly 10 years now for her words below! Also to Sandra Moon from the ACE Radio Network. I appreciate your Kind Words!

I have been working with Melissa for several years now while employed by the Weekly Times and ABC, and I always find her press releases clear, snappy and a good length.  The pictures provided are relevant and always of a good quality.  I always appreciate how quickly Melissa responds with information and with arranging interviews. “If only all media and communications officers were as easy to work with as Melissa Pouliot. Her media releases are always concise and easy to read, perfect for audio or print media purposes. And she sends them to me while the news is current because she understands old news is no news. She is mindful of topics relevant to my program content, so I know if a release comes through it will always be suitable for on-air use. Melissa is easily contactable, follows up on every detail, ensures interviews are arranged in a timely manner and is always a pleasure to deal with.” Sandra Moon | 2AY Assistant General Manager | Breakfast Announcer  | Network Rural Editor for ACE Radio Network
